Rongcheng Group (formerly Shandong Zouping Copper Mine) was founded on December 26, 1988. Over decades of development through multiple stages, it has become a municipal state-owned enterprise group with 37 years of history. Leveraging Zouping's role as a core area of the world high-end aluminum industry base, the Group focuses on operating business and asset revitalization, developing fine chemicals, aluminum lightweight die castings and high-end aluminum materials, while expanding six sectors including mining, property, drinking water, grain processing and healthcare.
The Group has 14 second-tier companies, 10 Party branches with 320 members, more than 2,500 employees and total assets of RMB 2.8 billion. Under the guidance of the municipal government and with broad social support, it has maintained steady progress, accelerated industrial upgrading, diversified its industrial layout and prioritized safety management, achieving 10,363 consecutive days of safe production (as of June 11, 2026).
